Follow the King- FisherBuy the original or grab a fine art print. And they really are fine. With a border of 5mm around perfect for framing. This painting was created at the incredible mission school 'Kingdom Come' in Paisley. Here is a short film about it: I enjoyed painting this Kingfisher so much! It was such a JOY to incorporate new ways of painting, layers of paint and lettering and a beautiful iridescent paint that makes the King Fisher shimmer and change colour

The blue permeates the entire landscape as it really was the king of the week

I hope this painting encourages you to cry out to God for His mercy

The majority don’t actually nest

The painting measures 76 cm by 51cm

It's heavily textured with paint scratched to create waves going deeper and deeper

but rather they tear around like screeching boy racers swirling and pursuing one another in noisy merriment as if in some perpetual game of chase

This was a sketch looking and observing the beauty of the island towards the lighthouse

The Northern Lights are shown

The surface has minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel which creates smooth colour gradients
