Antique Japanese Military Infantry Regimental Banner Army Sake CupThis is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a picture of a regimental banner quite battered, because they didn't replace these as it was a gift from the emperor. The words are "21st Infantry Regiment Commemoration". Condition: Mint Size: 3" across

decorated with a heavy Type-92 machine gun

Condition: One small spot of damage of the lacquer paint

and the ship sinking in the distance is Pingyuan (as noted by the flag)

The words on top are "Among men

and the big characters "Universal Love"

One of the flags is that of Manchukuo

culminating in the Jinan Incident in 1928

Condition: Excellent - light fading of the rim

The back of the saucer has the words "Crown Prince Europe Tour Commemoration"

The naval exercise that year (1930) took place near Kobe

which was much more expensive (5-10x) than ceramic cups

The soldier's name Nagai is on the back
